Vintage Design
On offer is a Danish modern dining chair designed by Johannes Andersen, made in 1960s Denmark. The frame is made of solid teak wood paired with an upholstered seat and backrest. The wood is a lovely warm brown colour, with the wood grain visible, while the (likely) leather upholstery is a dark red-brown colour (see photographs). The previous owner had their insignia, the letter B, imprinted into the front of the chair (see last photo). The chair has an elegant, distinct shape and is well made, making for a strong visual and a comfortable seating experience. DIMENSONS (cca): Height: 76 cm Width: 47 cm Depth: 47 cm Seat height: 46 cm CONDITION Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use – mainly scuff marks on the wood and a bit of wear on the faux-leather (see photographs).
