Vintage Design
The chair from the “Pirkka” series was designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in the 1950s. The offered set of 4 was manufactured by the Finnish company Laukaan Puu. Later Artek took over the production. The back as well as the seat are made of pine, the frame is made of birch. The chairs have a very strong, wonderful patina.
