Vintage Design
Empire period bed in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer with a rich decoration of finely chased and gilded bronzes. The bed is decorated with a lyre in the center of the front, and framed by two sheath feet with shafts decorated with caduceus and busts of Mercury surmounted by a ball. The front has a crosspiece with palmettes and laurel wreaths. The back with two amounts in terms flanked by fleurons is surmounted by a pediment by scroll presenting in full arch a cup applied between foliage rinces, a head of medusa and two laurel wreaths.
