Chinese Quartetto Nesting Tables, 1890s, Set of 4

This is an antique quartetto of nesting tables. A Chinese, rosewood set of occasional tables, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Of quality craftsmanship, with appealing late 19th century Chinese motif.
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order.
Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep russet hues.
Nesting neatly within each other when not in use.

Inset tray tops to each table for keeping items secure.
Pierced fretwork aprons decorate the side and rear fascia.
Raised upon square section legs with shaped block feet.

This is an attractive antique quartetto of nesting tables, with wonderful colour and quality finish. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready to be enjoyed.
