Elegant and distinctive console table in Art Deco style; a green glass has been placed on the rectangular top; to obtain the color, a special film has been heat-applied to the bottom of the glass plate, which allows, when looking at the glass from the top, to enjoy the beautiful coloring. The structure is linear and essential, the two legs, which connect with the lower base, have a soft and sinuous line, which contrasts nicely with the design of the entire piece of furniture. The console has two hooks on the back so it can be fixed to the wall. The console table was made between 1950 and 1954, by a skilled master craftsman in a perfect and meticulous manner in the area of Lendinara, in the province of Rovigo (Italy) one of the most famous districts for furniture production in the Veneto region. Sapele, a prestigious reddish-colored wood similar to mahogany from Equatorial Africa, was used in the construction of the console table; this sophisticated material has a tight weave and interwoven fibers, fine and uniform and with a good natural luster. It is a sturdy, rather flexible, hard, and compact type of wood, usually used for luxury furniture and cabinetry, but also in the interior decoration of yachts and yachts as well as in sophisticated and expensive musical instruments. Our console table is a valuable and original piece of furniture, capable of creating calm and peaceful atmospheres, giving romanticism and sophistication to any kind of furniture. Measures width cm.81, depth cm.36, and height cm.85.
