This antique and amazing set of four hand carved Black Forest solid oak wood wall brackets are impressively and deeply sculpted with hunting themed motifs. Under each deep hand carved shelf surface- wonderfully worked with curls, swirls and scrolls- stands the sculpture of different animals: a fox, a deer, a dog and a wild boar sculpted as hunting trophy heads. Drawing the eye down, under the animal sculptures one can find different decorative elements hand crafted as fruits inspired by forest and nature, from acorn to pomegranate, the whole surrounded by rich carvings and a cartouche as finals. This large scale and high end set of wall mounted brackets is the perfect antique piece to decorate one of the walls in your hunting room, home office library or parlour, so rare to find as a set of four and moreover in this excellent condition. Entirely hand-crafted and hand carved out of solid oak these shelves are deep and large enought to exhibit your china, vases or little sculptures.
