Vintage Design
Scriban chest made in the 18th century during the reign of Louis XV in the Loire valley.
Its hectic facade and its sides are in walnut.
It opens with two large identical drawers, applies to the body, with slightly shaped semi-in-law. They are overlooked by two smaller drawers. They are equipped with functional iron locks, authentic bronze inputs, posterior keys and drooping handles with two fasteners with openwork and chopped rosettes. In the central part there is also a false drawer with bronze entrance.
The slope, with covering, has a tab and half-round frame frame. It should be noted that the parts of wood are well joined and exempt from elements that do not correspond to the time of this piece of furniture (composite or other). This flap is fixed on two original iron hinges and is held in a horizontal position by two hooks. The workspace is dark with a soft green cowhide decorated with a golden -colored golden sticker and a central pattern. The interior also offers a central niche, two concave drawers with stands and a lightly in -shape drawer. These open with brass buttons. The reserve (or false drawer) is hidden by a sliding plate.
The front amounts are in quarter of round and smashing, and everything ends with snail feet.
The slightly cut skirt is grounding
The sides each consist of a single panel with ground.
The whole of this piece of furniture is pegged.
This fully authentic scriban chest of drawers will be appreciated in particular for its dimensions, its small volume and its sobriety.
