Antique Wood Carved Santos of St. Luke With Steer

A wonderful antique wood carved Santos of St. Luke with a steer. Luke is often shown with an ox or a calf because these are the symbols of sacrifice. They are also symbols of service: an ox represents service; St. Luke is a servant of the Lord. Nicely carved and painted.

Measures overall 11” high, Santos 9”; base 7” x 4 ¼”. ¾”. Condition as shown in photos, please examine.
